Exposure

Exposure page contains mixed reality camera exposure and color options.

  • Type
    • Can be used to switch between Manual and Auto exposure.
    • When Auto exposure is selected, shutter speed and gain will be adjusted automatically according to surrounding light conditions.
  • Shutter Speed
    • Can be used to adjust the shutter speed value of connected mixed reality cameras.
    • This adjustment is only available when Manual exposure is selected.
  • Gain
    • Can be used to adjust the gain value of connected mixed reality cameras.
    • This adjustment is only available when Manual exposure is selected.
  • Gamma Offset
    • Can be used to adjust the gamma offset of the displayed mixed reality image.
    • This adjustment is applied during software image processing, after the raw image from mixed reality cameras is transferred to the PC.
  • Contrast
    • Can be used to adjust the contrast value of the displayed mixed reality image.
    • This adjustment is applied during software image processing, after the raw image from mixed reality cameras is transferred to the PC.
  • Exposure Compensation
    • Can be used to adjust the exposure compensation value for the automatic exposure algorithm.
    • This option will directly influence how dark or light will the final image be after automatic exposure is applied.
    • This adjustment is only available when Auto exposure is selected.
  • Adaptation Speed
    • Can be used to adjust the adaptation speed value for the automatic exposure algorithm.
    • This option will change how fast the automatic exposure algorithm reacts to changes in surrounding light conditions.
    • This adjustment is only available when Auto exposure is selected.
  • Reset
    • Allows resetting all exposure options to their default values.
  • White Balance
    • Profile
      • Changes the color profile of the displayed mixed reality image.
      • This adjustment is applied during software image processing, after the raw image from mixed reality cameras is transferred to the PC.
      • Several predefined profiles for specific surrounding light conditions are available, or you can select the Custom profile and set the color temperature manually.
    • Temperature
      • Can be used to adjust the color temperature value of the displayed mixed reality image.
      • This adjustment is only available when Custom profile is selected.
    • Color Enhancer
      • Allows enabling or disabling the color enhancer algorithm, which is used to make the colors of the displayed mixed reality image more similar to real color of the surrounding environment.
      • We recommend leaving this option enabled for most use-cases.
