Firmware

Firmware page shows information about the firmware installed in the connected headset, and allows updating it.

Firmware Version Installed
- Shows the version of firmware currently installed in the connected headset.
Upload Firmware
- Can be used to manually upload a different firmware to the connected headset. The latest firmware file for manual upload is available in the Somnium VR1 Tool folder.
- This option is currently only available in the Standalone edition of Somnium VR1 Tool.
Look for Updates
- Can be used to check if any firmware update is available on the update server.
- This option is only available in the Online edition of Somnium VR1 Tool.
Restore Current
- Can be used to restore a previous firmware version saved in the headset.
- Should only be used if any issues occur after a firmware update.
Headset Serial Number
- Shows the serial number of the connected headset.
