We recommend downloading one of our demo applications to easily test your XTAL headset. These applications are available in the Demos folder.

There are several demo projects currently available:

  • Automotive Holodeck – example Unreal Engine demo, fully showing the capabilities of the XTAL headset, focused on the automotive segment.
  • LakeHouse – example Unreal Engine demo, fully showing the capabilities of the XTAL headset, focused on the real estate segment.
  • ArchViz – example Unity demo, fully showing the capabilities of the XTAL headset, focused on the real estate segment.

These demo projects are using native SDK/plugin (they don’t run through the SteamVR application), so make sure that the SteamVR driver is disabled before running them. External tracking is recommended for full 6DoF movement capabilities.
