XTAL body setup

Tracking > OptiTrack > XTAL body setup
  • Download the XTAL body file from the OptiTrack tracking folder
    • Use the XTAL_xxx.motive body, where xxx corresponds to the serial number of your XTAL headset (serial number can be found on the bottom of the headset or by using the VRG Tool application)
    • Use the XTAL_xxx.tra body for older versions of Motive software
    • Use the XTAL.motive body if you will not use Active labels in Motive software (but be aware in that case you can only use one XTAL headset in your setup)
  • Click on ‘File’-’Open’
  • Select the downloaded XTAL body
  • Open the ‘Assets’ pane (‘View’-’Assets Pane’)
  • Click on the imported XTAL asset
  • Change the Streaming ID if necessary (this will be shown in the ‘Properties’ tab under General Settings)
  • The XTAL body is now set and ready for use in Motive
